We live in an Age of Information where fast access to relevant information becomes a source of power.
The communityhealth.in project is an effort to address the paucity of relevant information on community health and the Health For All movement in India. It is a volunteer run wiki style website which aims to become a comprehensive online resource. It can also be seen as a experiment in a participatory model of information creation and design. We hope to involve people in the creation of the information they require. communityhealth.in was conceptualised and created by Dr. Lalit Narayan during a 6 month fellowship with CPHE from August 2009 to January 2010.
