What we do
CPHE works predominantly in the areas of health policy advocacy and public health education. CPHE’s work complements the work of Community Health Cell (CHC), the other functional unit of the Society for Community Health Awareness, Research and Action (SOCHARA), which works on promoting community health and the Right to Health and builds community capacity and solidarity.
CPHE works on the principles of the ‘politics of engagement’, bringing civil society and Health For All movement perspectives into policy dialogue at every level and into mainstream public health education, training and capacity building.
